2006 is the Year

2006 is when the future of the Worcester Regional Airport will be decided. The city, state, and federal governments just simply can not continue to flush $2,000,000 down the drain annually.

What has to happen?

  • Allegiant Air must continue to be successful and be discussing about or planning additional serivce to Orlando or other Florida destinations.
  • At least one additional airline is recruited. Hooters Air seems to be the best candidate.
  • All airline service is reliable.
  • A sit-down food vendor is located in the terminal.
  • Wi-fi is offered ar NO CHARGE.

If the airport loses all airline service again, the airport will no longer have a chance to succeed. If any of these has to happen it is most certainly landing more airline service: You can't have a successful commercial airport with one small commercial airline.
